Ex- Sri Lanka Shell man in rubber firm
July 28, 2010 (LBO) - Mahesha Ranasoma, who recently stepped down as head Sri Lanka's Shell Gas operations, has been appointed an executive director of Dipped Products from August 02, the listed firm said in a stock exchange filing.
Dipped Products, a unit of Sri Lanka's Hayleys group, is a top exporter of rubber gloves.

The firm said Ranasoma had over 11 years of senior management experience at Shell and had been a lecturer in civil and coastal engineering.

He has a doctorate from the University of Cambridge and a masters degree in business administration from the Univesity of Wales in UL, the firm said.
